Leadership Breakfast 2026:
From Grassroots to Global: Redefining Community-Centered Women’s Health Care

The Arnhold Institute hosted last Thursday our Annual Leadership Breakfast “From Grassroots to Global: Redefining Community-Centered Women’s Health Care,” bringing together leaders from across Mount Sinai, philanthropy, and global health to discuss how community-centered approaches are transforming women's health across our partnerships both in New York City and globally.

Across these settings, one message was clear: listening to women and partnering with communities are essential to strengthening women’s health care.  A special thank you to our moderator, Dr. Rachel Vreeman, and panelists Chanel L. Porchia-Albert, Dr. Sheela Maru, and Dr. Wan-Ju Wu for sharing their expertise and vision on women’s health. We also were also honored to hear from Dr. Eric J. Nestler, Dean, of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and John Hess, Chairman of the Mount Sinai Health System Boards of Trustees. Thank you to the faculty and staff who helped make this event a success!
