HOPE was honored to participate in the 2025 VVN Summit “Unwavering Resistance: An Invitation to Beloved Community”. The Summit convened grassroots leaders, community organizers, researchers, and advocates committed to advancing equity and justice for children, families, and communities nationwide. Through its learning tracks on birth justice, community leadership, and relational health, the Summit provided space for cross-sector collaboration, data storytelling, and policy advocacy focused on tackling systemic inequities. HOPE’s involvement reflected our commitment to grounding maternal health work in community leadership, shared power, and culturally affirming care , advancing birth equity as an essential component of broader social transformation.
